The latest addition to our range of wines, Château Franc Laporte is a 5-hectare gem perched on the heights of the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation plateau. Located in the commune of Saint-Christophe des Bardes, the estate offers a 180° view of the Montagne hillsides.

Varieties and Soils

Composed primarily of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the vines are planted on exceptional terroir: clay on the surface and limestone bedrock of highly variable composition at depth.

Tasting Notes

The attack is fruity with notes of red berries and blackcurrant. The balance is achieved between vanilla and fruity notes, accompanied by round and silky tannins, promising good aging potential.
